After not being admitted to last year’s Met Gala — causing Kanye West
to attend stag — Kim showed up Monday to the Met Ball in one of the
most absurd outfits ever worn, all but assuring her invite next year
will get lost in the mail. The worst part about Kim’s camo-floral
Givenchy-made nightmare, complete with matching gloves attached to the
body, was that she and her stylist thought long and hard about the
outfit and still went with it.
“She had the Givenchy severely altered at the last minute on orders of
her new stylist,” a fashion insider tells Life & Style magazine. A
source for the mag also says, “Kanye is annoyed, as the dress is by his
best friend, Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, and he feels embarrassed that
Kim is messing with a beautiful piece of art.” I can see things are really work for both of them now.
