Breakaway Ministries on Fire in Texas

(College Station, TX)—Breakaway Ministries—whose mission is to introduce college students to Christ and make lifelong disciples of them—is a spiritual success story. It began 25 years ago as a small Bible study with a handful of students at Texas A&M University. Today, thousands of on-fire Christian students gather every week for prayer and Bible study and to worship together.

According to a recent CBN report, as many as ten thousand people have shown up at the meetings; one-fifth of the entire student population.

It's not just about numbers. The students who attend Breakaway are impacted, they claim, for life and are determined to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Said student Rachel Fisher, "As an Aggie, you are a part of something bigger than yourself. That is sort of our motto... [so] it all makes sense because what we do at Breakaway is all about glorifying God. It's really about spreading the Gospel, and you know, showing that Jesus moves and He loves everyone."
